This study was conducted to determine the Factors Affecting the Academic Performance of Bachelor of Science in Hotel and Restaurant Management Students in Cavite State University Main Campus. Specifically, this study aimed to know the socio-demographic profile of the students in terms of age, sex, year level, estimated monthly family income and general point average. Likewise this also aimed to identify on how the factors (Students related factors, School related factors, Home/Family related factors, professor related factors) can affect the academic performance of the students in Bachelor of Science in Hotel and Restaurant Management. The research study also aimed to determine the effect of this factors on the academic performance of the students. The result of data gathered revealed that most of the respondents were 20 to 23 years old. In terms of the sex of the respondents, male dominated the sample of the respondents with frequency of 197 over the total 379. The factors as perceived by the students that affects their academic performance have both positive and negative result which are significant and not significant.
