ROMEROSA, LIZA A., Applied Research IV (Agricultural Science Curriculum), Don Severino Agricultural College, Indang, Cavite, March 1988. RESPONSE OF ANTHURIUM (Anthurium andreanum L.) TO DIFFERENT POTTING MEDIA.

Adviser: Mr. Alejandro C. Mojica

The experiment was conducted at the backyard of Mr. Reynante Pozul in A. Luna St., Indang, CAvite from July 1987 to December 1987. The experiment aimed to determine the effect of the different potting media on the growth of anthurium and also to find out which potting medium is best suited for the plant.

Garden soil, wood shavings, and coconut husks, and the combination of these media did not affect the number and length of the leaves, and the plant height significantly. However, anthurium plants produced more tiller in coconut husks as the medium.
