A study was conducted to determine the appropriate and economical mixture and design proportioning method combination of concrete constituents that can be used to produce a high-strength concrete. It also aims to determine if rice husk ash as partial substitute for cement can be utilized to produce high-strength concrete.
A total of I I different mixes of type I cement was used in the study. The different mixes were as follows: mix 100% cement, 95% cement — 5% RHA, 90% cement RHA, 85% cement - 15% RHA, cement - RHA, 75% cement - 25% RHA, cement — 30% RHA, 65% cement — 35% RHA, 600/0 cement — 40% RHA, 55% cement — RHA and cement - RHA.
In general, Rice Husk Ash improved the compressive strength of concrete, effective additive in the formulation of high strength concrete and economical to use.
