This study attempted to determine the social behavior adjustment of students raised by parents and grandparents in Cavite State University. Specifically, it also aims to 1.) determine the demographic profile of the respondents; 2.) identify the parenting styles of the parents and grandparents; 3.) identify the level of social adjustment manifested by the students raised by parents and grandparents; 4.) ascertain if there is significant difference on the social behavior adjustment between the students raised by parents and grandparents; 5.)ascertain if there is significant difference on the social behavior adjustment according to parenting styles. The study made use of descriptive design which is integrated by a normative method using questionnaire as gathering tools to find out the significant difference on the social behavior adjustment between the students raised by parents and grandparents. Descriptive statistics such as frequency counts and percentages were used in determining the demographic characteristics of the respondents. And Mann- Whitney test and Kruskal — Wallis test was used in determining the differences of social behavior adjustment between the students raised by parents and grandparents. The study involved twenty — five (25) students raised by parents and another 25 students raised by grandparents in Cavite State University. Majority of the respondents ages ranged from 18 -20 years and most of them were female. Majority had monthly family income of Php 10,000 and below. The result of the study shows that there is no significant difference on the social behavior adjustment of the students raised by parents and grandparents in Cavite State University. In addition. that there is no significant difference on the social behavior adjustment of the students according to parenting styles
