This research determines the income expenditures and investment patterns of microbusiness owners in Indang, Cavite. Specifically, the study aimed to: (1) describe the socio-economic characteristics of microbusiness owners Indang, Cavite in terms of age, sex, civil status, educational attainment, household size, number of years in operations and income; (2) determine the expenditures patterns (3) identify the investment patterns of microbusiness owners; (4) identify the factors that influence the investment patterns; (5) determine the significant difference in expenditure patterns of microbusiness owners when grouped according to their socio-economic characteristics; and (6) determine the significant difference in investment patterns of microbusiness owners when grouped according to their socio-economic characteristics. The study was conducted from December 2017 to May 2018 in all barangays in Indang, Cavite. The study used descriptive research design and correlational analysis. Slovin's used to determine the target sample of the study. The questionnaire formula aire serves as the instrument in gathering data. Purposive sampling technique was used distributing questionnaires. The researchers' main sources of data were microbusiness ‘owners in Indang, Cavite. The total participants of the study were 284 out of 984 total population based on the computed result through Slovin's Formula.
It was found out that the total personal expenditure of microbusiness owners has no significant difference when grouped according to age, sex and civil status. Whereas, e educational attainment and household size of the microbusiness owners have, significant difference in the expenditure. Likewise, the total business expenditure has no significant difference with age, ex, civil status, household size. However, there was a significant difference when it comes to their educational attainment. Meanwhile, total investment has no significant difference with the age, sex, civil .status, and household size. On the other hand, the educational attainment of the microbusiness owners has significant difference in investment practices.
