A study was conducted to determine the gender division of labor among human resource personnel in the local government units of Cavite. It was conducted among 96 human resource personnel of the local government units of Cavite. Data were obtained through survey questionnaire and were analyzed using frequency count, mean, and percentage. Majority of the resource personnel in the local government units of Cavite had an average age of 38 years, married, attained formal education, belonged to the Catholic Religious Organization, and had an average monthly income of P18, 676. The reproductive activities were mostly done by female HR personnel while community activities were mostly done by male participants. The male human resource personnel in the local government units of Cavite predominantly played an important role in the productive activities such as imposing discipline to subordinate staff, establishing and maintaining effective communication systems for all HR related information with supervisors and employees, conducting regular compensation plan reviews, and facilitating and tracking employees training and professional development.
