This project was conducted at Brgy. Kaylaway, Nasugbu, Batangas from December 11, 2018 to March 27, 2019 to attain the project's objective that helped the student to experience the actual hog fattening; attain additional information, knowledge and skills that gave the student the basis to start his own business and gain profit in his future business. The four fattening hogs were rendered with the proper care and management during the 105 — day rearing period. At the end of the project, the hogs with an initial average weight of 12.50 ended up weighing an average of 84.25kg with an average daily gain (ADG) of 804.14 grams.
The average feed consumption was 206.25 and the feed conversion efficiency was 2.43. The net income computed was P5, 614.00 with a total of P4I , 691.00 spent as an expense in project operation, giving a return of investment (ROI) of 13.46%.
