This study was conducted on the farm of Mr. Santiago Ortiz located in Barangay Santol, Silang Cavite. This study aimed to determine the: 1) management and cultural practices employed in the farm; 2) marketing practices employed by the farmers; 3) producing pineapple, and 4) problem farmers in the production and marketing of pineapple. use ABSTRACT of Primary data were collected through personal interview with the farmers and other members of the family with the prepared questionnaire. Farm visits and observation were also conducted to obtain additional information about the management, production, marketing, and financial aspects of the farm. capital of in 1993 production period, the farmer used an initial farm P100,000.00. The P502,530.00. cost and return encountered by the vi earned profit of the problems encountered by the farmer were high cost of hired tractor and production supplies such presence of pest and diseases as fertilizer and chemicals, and lack of technical know-how in production.
