A three-month field practice was conducted at Cavite Feeds Milling Corporation located at Aguinaldo Highway, Biga, Silang, Cavite from November 15, 1993 to January 31, 1994.
This field study aimed to apply the gained knowledge in Agribusiness Management to real life situation and experiences. During the conduct of the study, problems have been observed and identified and probable solutions to these problems were recommended.
It was found that the business was facing problems in the organization, employees were burdened with so many work. Each of the employees must be given appropriate duties and responsibilities. Due to the fact that the company is a newly established one, they still cannot afford to hire people for the different positions required. Production problem was.also one of the major concerns, shortage of supply of raw materials and other feed additives was really unavoidable.
Maintenance of good quality products, strict quality control of raw materials and other feed ingredients should be observed in order to maintain and produce good quality feeds.
Observation and proper evaluation of other business competitors and product promotion must be implemented in order for the product to achieve a good performance in the market.
