A three month field study was conducted at Mother Nature Garden in Magdiwang, Noveleta, Cavite from November 1994 to January 1995 to apply the author's gained knowledge, skills and tools to real life situations and experiences. It specifically aimed to study and analyze the organization and management, production, marketing, and financial aspects of Mother Nature Garden and determine the problems encountered by the firm and recommend possible solutions to the identified problems.
Data were gathered through observation, personal interviews with the farm manager, assistant manager, secretary and laborers and through actual participation in different activities in the farm.
It was found out that the farm has a schedule of daily activities which helps the management to attain the production targets and to facilitate the workflow. It is recommended that the farm must give concern to their workers through open communication, accepting opinions and suggestions and by means of increasing the salary to motivate them to work more effectively and efficiently. Hiring of skilled workers 15 also recommended to increase the production volume.
