A farm practice was conducted at the Labrador's Poultry Farm in Lumampong Halayhay, Indang Cavite on October 26 to December 10, 1996 to help the student gain experience and develop his managerial skills in broiler production. One thousand one hundred fifty (1,150) broiler chicks were utilized in the project. The birds were fed with Chick Booster Mash on the first two weeks, Broiler Starter Mash of the next three weeks and Broiler Finisher Mash on the remaining period up to disposal. Changing of feeds was done gradually for three days. A medication program was followed and clean drink water was always made available. At the end of the project, the birds attained an average body weight of 1.92 kg and consumed an average of 4.11 kg of feeds. Feed conversion efficiency was 2.18 kg and mortality was 2.17%. The project obtained a net income of P 21,.1.98.36 with a return on investment of 28.11°
