A field study was conducted at V.V. Soliven Realty Corporation located at rd floor V.V. Soliven Shoping Complex, Edsa-Greenhills San Juan Metro, Manila from November 12, 2001 to February 09, 2002. The general objectives of the study was to gain knowledge and skills through actual participation in the company's operations, which will be useful in seeking future employment. Specifically, the study aimed to: describe the organization and management of the firm: describe the products offered in the market and identify the problems as well as the future plans of the firm. Data and information were gathered through company's profile, interview with its staff and personnel, and actual participation in the firms activities. Other data were gathered through in the library of Soliven, Security and Exchange Commission (SEC), Tagaytay City Hall library, books and through internet. V.V. Soliven Realty Corporation is a group of companies engaged in producing and marketing different types of houses. Major problems encountered by the firm are the high cost of construction materials and the devaluation of peso because of the political crisis that affected the country. Piracy of caliber employees was one of the problems that VVSRC has been encountering.
V.V. Soliven Realty Corporation plans to maintain its competitiveness in the business world. It plans to construct more subdivisions in different places to maintain their competitiveness. It also plans to make more good model houses and more designs, to make them attractive to the buyers. It also plans to renovate its building to make it more attractive and look more sophisticated to their clients and the whole world.
