This study was conducted to determine the response of H and N layers to different brands of commercial feeds and to find out which among these brands would be the best for them. It also aimed to attain the maximum percent of egg production. A total of two hundred eighty eight (288) laying pullets were used in the study. The pullets were equally divided and randomly distributed to four different treatments. Each treatment was replicated four times with 18 laying pullets in each replicate.
The pullets the first month of the second month up Ill and IV were fed respectively. were fed with commercial feed A during their laying period. At the start of the fourth month, Treatments I, II, with commercial feeds A, B, C, and D, No significant differences were observed in egg production, weight of eggs, feed consumption, percent egg production and feed efficiency of the birds throughout the experimental period. Poultry pest and diseases and mortality did not occur throughout the duration of the study.
