BADANOY, JOAN MA... B., CASUNCAD, 'DIANA Al., GUZMAN, ROSELLE and LOMBRE, MARIEL G.: Development of an E-Learning System on Assessment of Learning I for College of Education, Cavite State University Main Campus. Undergraduate Thesis. Bachelor of Science in Information Technology. Cavite State University. Indang, Cavite.June 2019. Adviser: Ace Amid E. Malicsi.
The study was conducted to provide an E-Learning System on Assessment of Learning I for College of Education students and instructor of Cavite State University Main Campus. The system consists of five (5) modules: account management module, lesson management module, assessment module, communication module and report module. Account management module ensures that before the user can access the system, they will login using their default id and password. After that, they can have an access to the system. It has three levels of access: the students, instructors and administrators. The lesson management module ables the student to see the list of uploaded lessons of the instructor such as videos, pdf and documents. The instructor will upload the lesson that can be downloaded by the students. Assessment module provides the list of online examination where they could take the exam and where they can see students' assessment in terms
creating a table of specifications and exam. The exam also have time and schedule.
Report module includes the list of reports and results of the examination. The instructor can monitor the list of grades. The methodology that the researchers used was Rapid Application Development. It consists of four phases: requirement planning phase, user design phase, construction phase, and c er phase. The have at least 60 respondents for the evaluation the IT experts, two instructors and 60 students from the College of Education were involved in the study. The researchers evaluated the software based on functionality, usability, reliability, efficiency, maintainability, portability and user-friendliness. All the results have been analyzed and statistically treated by the use of mean and standard deviation. The average result of evaluation for technical evaluators to the system got 4.45 for
the overall mean and 0.5✓ for the standard de';iation with an overall interpretation of Excellent. While the average result of non-technical evaluators to the system got 4.61 for the overall mean and 0.56 for the standard deviation with an overall interpretation of Excellent.
The information that the researchers have been gathered were used for solving the problems that the instructors and students have encountered. The researchers developed a system that is useful for them in constructing and practicing table of specification and exam. Each problem was answered by modules in the system.
