The study, "Effect of Different Levels of Rhizobium to the Growth and Yield Performance of Bush Sitao (Vigna sesquipedalis)", was conducted to find out the effect of different coating levels of Rhizobium to the growth and yield performance and to determine what level of Rhizobium will effectively increase the growth and yield performance of bush sitao.
The different treatments used were the following: Tp (control); Ty (25 grams of Rhozobium for every 200 gram seeds) 3 T, (50 grams of Rhizobium for every 200 seeds); tT. (75 grams of Rhizobium for every 200 gram seeds); and T, (100 grams of Rhizobium for every 200 grams seeds). Treated bush sitao seeds showed no significant a@ifference in germination as compared to untreated seeds.
On the height of plants, average number of pods per plant and average weight of pods, seeds treated with 75 grams of Rhizobium gave the highest mean and highly significant results. This proved, levels of Rhizobium had a remarkable effect on the growth and yield of bush sitao. However, the use of Rhizobium does not have
significant effect on the length of pods of bush sitao.
