The study was conducted from March 2021 to August 2022 with the purpose of determining the level of preparedness of faculty members at Cavite State University-Carmona Campus for online teaching and learning during the academic year 2020-2021. Specifically, this study is conducted to reveal the participants' socio demographics profile, their knowledge in Learning Management System, their attitudes and self-efficacy towards online teaching and learning, and suggestions in improving the implementation of online/flexible learning in the University.
The study made use of total enumeration sampling. 86 participants are the total number of faculty members at the Cavite State University- Carmona Campus. However, only 64 people actually participated in data gathering. The study revealed that the socio-demographic profile of the participants showed that most of them were 21-30 years old, male, single, had a bachelor's degree, with 4-6 years in service and handled a course about Business/Accountancy/Finance. Almost all of them attended training or seminar for the preparation of online teaching and learning. Google Meet was also the leading instrument used by the participants in conducting their online classes with their students.
The study also showed that Faculty members in CvSU Carmona Campus were knowledgeable in using Learning Management System. They also had a relatively positive attitude towards online teaching and learning attitude towards online teaching and learning. On top of that, they had a high level of self-efficacy that will help increase students' performance in class,

According to the participants’ point of view online learning and teaching is both efficient and challenging. However, it is still an effective instrument in delivering and conducting education despite the existing pandemic. Enhancement, improvement of skills, equipment, and new strategies are some of the participants' suggestions to ensure the high quality of education one can offer to his/her students. Therefore, it is highly recommended to upgrade all tools and equipment being used in an online environment. It is also recommended that faculty members create an alternative way to overcome and fight against different online technicalities. Moreover, faculty members should create new strategies to adapt to an online environment to ensure smooth, productive, and active interaction with the students.
