The study was conducted at Cavite State University- Main Campus from August 2018 to May 2019. Generally, it aimed to determine the level of digital media literacy and social media practices of the selected BA Journalism students of Cavite State University-Main Campus and the relationship between their digital media literacy and social media practices.
The study used descriptive research design. The data needed for this study were gathered by means of survey questionnaires. The participants of the study were the selected first year to third year BA Journalism students of the school year 2018-2019.
The results revealed that the participants had high digital media literacy with high
digital media utilization, and moderate social media practices.
There was a high significant relationship between the participants' digital media literacy and their social media practices and between the participants' digital media utilization and their social media practices.
