This study was conducted to determine the motivational factors as perceived by the contractual faculty members of Cavite State University-Main Campus in terms of security of tenure, intrapersonal relationship, benefits, professional growth, good working conditions and interpersonal relationship.

Descriptive Research Design was used in the study. The study also utilized a quantitative-qualitative approach in this research. The respondents of the study were 124 contractual faculty members in Cavite State University-Main Campus. Stratified Random Sampling was also utilized in the study. This study utilized survey technique using the researcher-made research instrument of Motivational Factors. Qualitative approach was used through open-ended questions and further interviews were conducted to clarify responses in the open-ended questions. Statistical measures used in the study were mean, frequency and percentages.

The results revealed that that the respondents have a high level of motivational factors in terms of security of tenure, very high level of motivational factors in terms of intrapersonal relationship, very high level of motivational factors in terms of benefits, high level of motivational factors in terms of professional growth, high level of motivational factors in terms of good working condition and very high level of motivational factors in terms of interpersonal relationship.
