This study "Construction Supplies Stores E-Map Mobile Application in Dasmariñas City, Cavite" was conducted to develop a construction supplies store emap mobile application that features few stores in the city of Dasmariñas. This study specifically aimed to: (1) create an application that can provide location, products, and prices of construction supplies stores in the city of; (2) provide an application with systematic and organized data for location, products, and prices of construction supplies stores in the city of Dasmariñas; and (3) provide a user-friendly mobile application.
The researchers conducted this study in Municipality of Dasmariñas City, Cavite and was performed with eighteen (18) construction supply stores in Dasmariñas, Cavite, from December 2021 to June 2022 to develop a pilot testing of construction supplies stores e-map mobile application.
The technology used to develop the application were flutter, dart, firebase, google maps API, visual studio code, and android studio virtual device manager.
The results revealed that the researchers successfully developed an e-map mobile application that allows users to search and canvass construction materials in some stores in Dasmariñas City Cavite. Users were able to locate the stores, browse the products available and compare prices from different stores. The data obtained from fifteen (15) technical, and fifteen (15) non-technical evaluators shows that the application was user-friendly and reliable.
Future researchers should consider expanding the study's scope, investing in cloud storage to improve the app's reliability, adding more functions, and making the app interactive so users can order products from it, and publishing the app on more accessible platforms such as Google Play store, Appstore, and App Gallery.
