Two hundred hours of plant practice were conducted by the student from July 4, 2022, to August 4, 2022, at DoughPro Manufacturing and Trading Corporation located at Lot 5 Blk 11 Sterling Technopark, Manggahan, Silang, Cavite.
This plant practice report aimed to develop skills in the inspection of packaging materials; hands-on experience in the conduct of traceability of raw materials and traded products; develop trainees' skills necessary for a quality control analyst; provide students with the proper working attitude through social interaction with others inside and outside the company. It also acquired practical experience in time and motion for the production of various variants of bread.
The author experienced and gained knowledge in food safety traceability of raw materials and trading products as well as in bread production inspection. The capacity to inspect raw materials and trading items enables the student to identify the actual count, expiration date, and lot ID of products for inventory in order to guarantee the products are of high quality. And during the student's training period, effective work attitudes including patience, honesty, dedication, and work discipline were developed. These attitudes would prepare the student for her future profession as a food technologist
