The study aimed to create an enhanced computerized record tracking system of Cavite State University.
Specifically, it aimed to lessen the delay of the transaction through the use of a system calendar, to improve the generation of reports by viewing the additional information in financial documents and to develop software, which is flexible enough to make the monitoring of records more efficient.
Several methods were used in the study. This includes gathering of data through interviews with the Records Officer and the previous developer of the system, and examining the existing software. Constructing a data flow diagram was also done and the software was developed through the application of incremental model. The proponents also used Visual Basic 6.0 as programming language in designing and coding the software.
