This study was conducted at the Don Severino Agricultural College from the 29th of September to the 30th of November, 1977. Twelve rabbits, six female and six male, two-month old were used and divided into three treatments. Lot I was given pure coconut water, Lot II with 5% molasses in water and the control was provided with plain water. All other management practices were made the same in all lots. Liberal feeding was ad-ministered throughout the experiment.
Results of the study revealed the following:
1. The highest final weight and gain in weight were obtained in Lot II.
2. The total amount of feed consumed and the amount of feeds to produce a kilogram gain in weight were lowest in Lot II.
3. After deducting the weight of production from the sale of rabbit, Lot II gave the highest net labor return.
4. Although statistical analysis showed insignificant results, Lot II is still better than the other treatments.
