The study entitled, "Varying Rates of Inoculant on the Growth and Yield of Soybeans", was conducted in Buna Lejos, Indang, Cavite from December 1980 to March 1981, Its purpose was to determine the effect of varying rates of inoculant on the growth and yield of soybeans.

Soil inoculants were mixed with the seeds to repre- sent different treatments. The different treatments used were T, - 100 grams of inoculant per 25 kgs. seeds, To ~- 150
grams inoculant per 25 kgs- seeds, T, - 200 grams inoculant per 25 kgs. seeds and Ty, - control.

Among the four treatments used, Treatment 3 produced the highest yield and higher fresh weight of plants in grams. T, (control) in turn had the lowest yield.

This shows 200 grams of inoculant per 25 kgs. Seeds level of soil inoculant had the greatest effect on the yield and fresh weight of plants in grams.
