This study was conducted to compare the level of effectiveness of traditionally and commercially prepared medicines in treating rheumatoid arthritis as used by 90 reliable respondents in the towns of Amadeo. Indang and Silang, Cavite. Copies of questionnaires were distributed and frequency distribution and percentage method were used in analyzing the data of this study. Findings revealed that in the towns of Amadeo and Silang, Cavite both traditionally and commercially prepared medicine were effectively used. In the town of Indang, Cavite, traditionally prepared medicines are most prepared by the respondents.
