The study was conducted to develop a website of St. Gregory the Great Parish. The study was made for the benefit of the churchgoers and people in and outside the country to give information about the church and its services. The information included in this study were: history, parish staff, priest from Indang and assigned in Indang, barangay chapels under the parish, church songs, ministries and organizations, different services and schedule, news and updates, picture galleries, and contact numbers of the church. The system has three levels of access: the administrator, the editors, and guests.
The method used in the development of the website was Rapid Prototyping Model which is composed of five phases: requirements gathering through interview and researches, quick design producing HIPO (Hierarchical Input Process Output), building the prototype through the use of Mambo, PHP MySQL and Apache, software evaluation through performance testing, and full-scale development of the website using the prototype, following the comments and suggestions of the users and the clients. The website was developed using Mambo 4.6.0 as web developing tool, supported by PHP (Hypertext Preprocessor) as programming language, MySQL (My Structured Query Language) as the database management system, and Apache HTTP Server.
The results of the evaluation determined the quality of the software. The means of all the criteria ranges from 4.01 to 4.35 with an interpretation of very good. This concludes that all criteria and objectives set were met.
