This farm practice on the production of cultured mushroom was conducted from April to June, 2010. It was conducted at Office of the Provincial Agriculturist-Cavite. The main objective of the farm practice was to provide the student with practical experience in the production and management of cultured mushroom.
Prior to the hands-on training on mushroom culture, the student learned the culture requirements of Pleurotus sp. At the Mushroom House, various operations involved in the production, harvest and postharvest of mushroom were done.
