Six varieties of tomato were comparedas to fruit and horticultural characteristics and yield. Highlv significant differences were obtained on the average number of marketable fruits and average equatorial diameter. However, results were significant on the average height of plants. Based on the result:: of two harvesting dates, the greatest number of marketable fruits was obtained in variety 3 ( C 32d- 0-4-0-2) with 98.50 and the smallest number was in Variety 1, with only 56.25 fruits per treatment.
