A study was conducted to ascertain the effectiveness of Mathematics Shortcut Technique as’an enrichment or motivational tool in mathematics curriculum and instruction. Educators, teachers and even students will all realize that Mathematics shortcut technique is a very useful tool of modern times in improving their mathematical performance and student’s attitude toward mathematics.

Data were obtained from two different National High Schools in Amadeo, Cavite: Amadeo National High School (experimental group) and Pangil National High School
(control group). Descriptive statistics, tests (pre- and posttest), observation and scorecards were used in presenting the data.

Pieces of information came from different books, dictionaries and theses. These reading materials contributed much to this study.

Descriptive type of research study was the method used in conducting this study.
