Undergraduate Thesis Bachelor of Science in Social Work. Cavite State University. April 2016. Thesis Adviser. Merlie C. Nahilat, MSSW<br/><br/>This study was conducted to answer the following problems: (1) what are the projects of KALAHI-CIDSS in Dasmarinas City?;(2)what are the problems encountered in implementing the project?; (3) what is the impact of KALAHI-CIDSS on the lives of community people?; (4) what are the perspective of the beneficiaries and stakeholders on the KALAHI-CIDSS projects?; and (5) how can KALAHI-CIDSS project be further improved as perceived by the beneficiaries and stakeholder?<br/><br/>The study used the descriptive evaluative method. This method used a survey questionniare and focus group discussion for data gathering. The participants of the study were the ,Barangay Paliparan III and Barangay Sta. Lucia with fifty (50) participants and ten (10) for Focus Group Discussion (FGD).<br/><br/>The study found out that the projects implemented by KALAHI-CIDSS really help the people in the community in the two Barangays.The program helped the people to generate their own income, delivered social services like health, education and facilities of the community. Some of the beneficiaries got employed and were able to provide the needs of their family. People get aware of their community, they were empowered by participating in the community people. Good governance was felt by the help of LGU’s people in the community.<br/><br/>Ms. Rosalita G. Abuan, head of City Social Welfare and Development Office (CSWDO)- Dasmarinas City Cavite, for allowing the researcher to conduct her study;<br/>Hon. Jennifer A. Barzaga, mayor of Dasmarinas City Cavite, for giving permission to conduct the study;<br/><br/>Her parents; Mama and Papa for their moral and financial support to conduct the study;<br/><br/>And above all, the ALMIGHTY GOD who give wisdom, knowledge, strength, courage, guidance and blessings which led to the realization of this work and love that led to success of this research<br/><br/>CRISTINE JOY PEREZ<br/> |
