<br/>CAMPOMANES, DARYL T. and PAITON Jr, ERNESTO T. Development of a Wireless Animatronic Hand. An Undergraduate Design Project. Bachelor of Science in Electronics and Communications Engineering. Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite. March 2016. Adviser: Engr. Michael T. Costa<br/><br/>The main objective of the study was to construct a Wireless Animatronic Hand to be used for demonstration on exhibits, robot conventions and pick and place applications.<br/><br/>Specifically, it aimed to construct a Wireless Animatronic Hand. It also aimed to create a program using Arduino software that program to device to control it wirelessly.<br/><br/>Furthermore, it aimed to test and evaluate the performance of the project; and to determine the cost of the developed system.<br/><br/>The Wireless Animatronic Hand was constructed and was divided in two parts, the controller glove and the animatronic hand. The arm controller was constructed using a right hand glove with a wrist and arm band that primarily a fabric material. The flex<br/>sensors, gizduino mini and Rf transceiver wireless technology device are the materials that was attached on the glove for the controller.<br/><br/>And for the animatronic hand, angle bar was used for the frame as the structural material for pick and place. The aluminium and customized PVC pipe was used for the arm and fingers. The wiper motors, bearing, limit switches and the motorcycle chain had been included in the process of constructing the animatronic hand. Using C language, the software was created which enabled to control the movement of the fingers and wiper motors. <br/><br/> |
