Dr. Famela Iza Cabe-Matic.<br/>This study was conducted from May 2016 to May 2017 in the municipality of Indang, Cavite. The participants were selected Drug Surrenders and random people to the community. The study aimed to describe the socio-demographic profile of drug surrenderers in terms of age, gender, civil status, educational attainment, and economic status/income, determine the level of socialization of drug surrenderers in terms of Primary socialization, secondary socialization anticipatory socialization, assess the level of drug abuse of the participants in terms of Experimentation, Regular use, Risky use/Abuse and Drug Addiction and dependency, determine if there is significant relationship between socio-demographic profile and the level of socialization of drug surrenderers to drug abuse, determine if there is a relationship between<br/>socio-demographic profile and the extent of drug abuse of the participants, determine if there is significant relationship between the drug surrenderers' extent of socialization and extent of drug abuse.<br/>Based on the results, majority of the drug surrenderers were 41-45 years of age, male, married, high school graduates, and with a monthly income of five thousand and below.<br/>In the level of socialization, majority of the drug surrenderers were engaged to drug use by the influence of their peer group on their secondary socialization.<br/>On the level of drug abuse, majority of drug surrenderers falls under experimentation which is the voluntary use of drugs without experiencing any negative social or legal<br/>consequences and experimenting may occur once or several times as a way to "have fun" or even to help the individual cope with a problem. For many, experimentation occurs without any desire to continue using the drug.<br/>The researcher also concluded that there is no significant relationship between the socialization and level of drug abuse in terms of risky abuse. There is no significant relationship between socio-demographic profile and the level of socialization of drug surrenderers. Moreover, the researchers concluded there is no significant relationship between socio-demographic profile and the extent of drug abuse of the drug surrenderers.<br/>Lastly the researchers also conclude that there is a significant relationship between the overall level of socialization and overall level of the drug abuse of drug surrenderers.<br/>The recommendations regarding to this study are for the Local government unit should have a livelihood program that may divert the perspective of drug surrenderers, to resist drug abuse and resolved to be rehabilitated. In this case the drug surrenderers should have training that is closely aligned with their interest, skills and potentials. Local government unit may provide financial assistance to support the programs and activities for the rehabilitation drug surrenderers. And also, for the community members could also help support the program and help drug surrenderers to be back to their normal lives. Concerned barangays and parishes should focus on community-based rehabilitation with participation from community volunteers and relatives of the drug users.<br/>
