Development of Microcontroller Based Lecture Board with Automatic Eraser. Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering. Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite. Adviser: Mrs. Aileen V. Rocillo. <br/>The study was conducted to design and develop the lecture board with automatic eraser. It aimed to construct a microcontroller circuit for controlling the movement and direction of the lecture board. The system consisted of different parts: the power supply, control unit, and lecture board with automatic eraser. The power supply generated the 5 volts supply for the control unit and 12 volts that is needed in the operation of the DC motor. The software was developed using Assembly Language. The microcontroller used was PIC 16F877. The microcontroller unit and the software were able to control the rotation of the lecture board and the eraser. The board has a dimension of 4 by 5 feet. The board rotates with an average speed of 0.3048 meter per second. The type of materials used in the lecture board and the eraser affects the performance of the entire system.<br/> |
