"New Heaven's Pizza and Snack House": An Enterprise Development Project, Bachelor of Science in Business Management, major in Marketing, Cavite State University, Indang Cavite March 2000. Adviser: Dr. Maria Ersando. <br/>New Heaven's Pizza and Snack House Located at 221 San Miguel St., Brgy. 2, Indang, Cavite was an enterprise development project conducted in a span of four months. The enterprise started from October 27,1 999 to February 11, 2000. The four-month operation helped in developing the proponent’s capabilities in managing business, social relationship, decision making and strategies in marketing. The project concentrated on the operation and management of pizza and snack house covering all the functional management areas such as organization, production, marketing and finance. Data and other information pertaining to the entrepreneurial project were gathered through actual operation, researches and interviews. Some of the problems encountered by the project were out of stock raw materials and increased prices. Locating stores that offer low prices of raw materials and buying raw materials solved this problem. Another problem was the establishments of Lots a Pizza, which became the toughest competitor of the project. However the enterprise had already established customer relations, that does not affect its sales. This business yielded an impressive and satisfactory net return. The net profit realized in the business was P22,705.60 posting a cash balance of P 34,035.65 without liability at all. The business had 142.73 percent profit to net worth and 28.97 percent profit to net sales this means that the business has brought about satisfactory net returns. The success of this project will enable the students to establish similar entrepreneurial project in the future. Likewise, the students' developed managerial and entrepreneurial skills in handling or establishing this kind of business. The enterprise was good source of income. |
