Undergraduate Thesis_ Bachelor in Sports and Recreational Management. Cavite State University, lndang Cavite. May 2018. Adviser Mr. Round P. Cuachin. <br/>The purpose of this study was to determine the demographic characteristics of the students of College of Sports, Physical Education and Recreation in Cavite State University and their benefits obtained in sports participation Questionnaire was used, to show how this significantly affect them especially if grouped according to their demographic characteristic’s. Descriptive research design was utilized in this study. A total of 175 students enrolled in second semester AY 2017-2018 served as the participants of the study. A survey instrument was used to gather data from participants which identify their benefits obtained in sports participation by rating each to a range of one (1) meaning that students -Strongly Agree- to four (4) Strongly Disagree." Results were tallied and organized into frequency distribution tables. Frequency counts, mean, range and percentage were determined and interpreted to resolve the first and second research issues were presented descriptively. <br/>Results showed that overall benefits obtained in sports participation from the 175 participants revealed a mean value of 1.81 for physical which is 'Agree," 2.31 for mental which is "Agree’ 1.85 for emotional which is "Agee" and 1.78 for social which is "Agee' and that there was no significant difference between demographic characteristics and benefits obtained in sports participation.<br/> |
