EFFECTS OF DIFFERENT FARM RESIDUES AS FEED SUPPLEMENT ON THE GROWTH PERFORMANCE OF BROILERS. Adviser : Miss Magdalena Nueva.<br/><br/>The study was conducted to determine the effects of different farm residues (banana corms, gabi corms and avocado seeds) as feed supplements on the performance of broiler as well as to find out the best ratio of commercial mash and farm residues in broiler!s ration.<br/><br/>Results of a three-week supplementation period revealed significant differences on the overall performance of birds, in favor of those supplemented with gabi corm, with 5 percent better than 10 percent. Although insignificant, birds given banana corm also performed better than the control group.<br/><br/>Thus, the use of gabi and banana corms 2s feed supplements to broiler finisher ration is strongly recommended for significant and or better performance of birds.<br/> |
