Matel <br/>This study was conducted to determine the engagement and risk appetite for selected investment products of BPO employees in Cavite from December, 2017 to March, 2018. The objectives of the study are to determine the socio-economic profile of BPO employees; to determine the engagement of BPO employees towards selected investment products; to determine the risk appetite of BPO employees towards selected investment products; to determine the current and potential investment of BP employees based on their engagement and risk appetite; to determine the significant difference on the engagement of BP employees towards selected investment products based on their socio-economic profile; to determine the significant difference on the risk appetite of BPO employees towards their engagement for selected investment products in Cavite and; to determine the significant relationship between risk appetite of BPO employees towards their engagement for selected investment products. A total of 195 BP employees in Cavite, served as the respondents of the study The list of BP companies in Cavite was given by the IT and Business Process Association of the Philippines (IBPAP). Stratified and snowball sampling was used in gathering the data. Frequency distribution and percentage were used in describing the socio-economic profile of the respondent& Mann Whitney and Kruskal Wallis test were used in determining the significant difference between the engagement and risk appetite selected investment products based on socio-economic profile while Spearman lack correlation was used in determining the relationship between engagement and risk . The result shows that age of BPO employees in Cavite who participated in the study range from 18 to 45 years old, dominated by male and single. Majority of the participants are college graduate who worked for 2 years and below and earned an average monthly income of P 21, 935.90. Based on the result, BPO employees were engaged and are considered to have a balanced risk appetite when it comes to the selected investment products. When it comes to the engagement of BPO employees, there is a significant difference between socio-economic profile specifically employees with the age bracket of 20-30's and employees who are within the bracket of separated and widowed, while in other factors show no significant difference. While in risk appetite, the study shows no significant difference towards socio-economic profile. In addition, the study shows a significant relationship between risk appetite and engagement.<br/> |
