Bachelor of sports and recreaticnal management, Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite, October 2018. Thesis adviser Mr. Victor C. Piores. <br/>The study was conducted from October 2018 to January 2019 at the College of Sport:, and Physical Education and Recreation in Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite. This study aimed to dig deeper information concerning anxiety level of a student athlete. In today's modern time, every athlete was exposed in different challenges in their life's race through social media, family, religion and many more. This study aimed to help athletes and coaches in their respective approaches in developing effective strategies that was discussed in this study. Specifically, it aimed to: deters nine the demographic profiles of the respondents in terms of age, sex, grade level, playing years and event played: measure the anxiety level of the athlete; know the level of performance of the athlete; determine the significant relationship between athlete's anxiety level and performance; determine significant relationship between athlete's anxiety level when grouped according to demographic characteristics; To determine a the significant relationship between athletes performance when grouped according to demographic characteristics; determine the coaching strategies and management as perceived by the athletes; determine the significant relationship between coaching strategies and management to the athletes; and the relationship between coaching strategies and management of athletes when grouped according to demographic characteristics. <br/>The participants of this research are grade 7 to 10 student athletes from the previous bottom list of different schools based on the list of city meet rankings in General Trias City, Cavite. This study was conducted with (80) student athletes. Descriptive method was used in this study. The researcher used a checklist-questionnaire method in order to reveal the significance difference of the variables. Coaching strategies and management affect the anxiety and performance level of an athlete except the sex. Coaches play a vital role in athlete's performance; they are athlete's key to their journey.<br/> |
