520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC. |
Summary, etc. |
"Social psychology is the scientific study of how people’s thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are influenced by the actual, imagined, or implied presence of others. The text Psychology and Social Issues studies how people act, think, and feel in the context of society. Social issue refers to an issue that influences and is opposed by a considerable number of individuals within a society. First chapter addresses the constituent elements of positive psychology, especially relating to healthy human development. The aim of second chapter is to describe the progress of the study and application of positive psychology (PP). Third chapter discusses how the admiration regulates social hierarchy. In fourth chapter, we tackle the difficulties present in adequately conceptualizing child abuse and neglect. The cultural reinforces of child abuse have been discussed in fifth chapter. In sixth chapter, we examine estimates of American social class mobility – the ability to move up or down in education and income status. The impact of an undergraduate course on positive psychology has been presented in seventh chapter. The objective of eighth chapter is to share various approaches to prevent crimes against children with students and professionals interested in developing and designing interactions. The effect of visual perspective on health-related intentions and behaviors has been introduced in ninth chapter. A systematic review and research agenda on social interactions have been discussed in tenth chapter. The objective of eleventh chapter is to determine and compare the attitudes of the respondents towards IPV in military and civilian communities. Twelfth chapter deals with game theory as psychological investigation. The aim of thirteenth chapter is to investigate differences in oscillatory responses to animations differing with regard to the complexity of social “interactions”. Attachment theory in the assessment and promotion of parental competency in child protection cases has been revealed in fourteenth chapter. Fifteenth chapter aims at identify links between the five factors of personality in children with ASD1 and their emotion regulation or dysregulation. In sixteenth chapter, we review recent expansion of heterogeneity in the genetic landscape for autism spectrum disorder (ASD). The purpose of seventeenth chapter is to increase awareness of family health program professionals in preventing child abuse, by evaluating a training course to identify and report abuse. In last chapter, we focus on neurocognitive basis of schizophrenia."--Back cover. |
