A total of 100 arbor acre chicks were used to determine the effect of utilizing dried poultry waste in the performance of the birds, feed efficiency, feed consumption and what level of dried poultry waste (DPW) will give the optimum performance to the birds. Birds were divided into five treatments and were replicated twice with ten birds for every replicate. <br/>Treatment I (control) was given pure commercial mash with five, ten, fifteen and twenty percent poultry waste (DPW) respectively. The average final weight of birds in Treatment V and I were the same and were heavier than the birds in Treatments II, III and IV by as much as 0.135; 0.28 and 0.11 kilograms respectively. However, the Slight difference observed was found to be statistically insignificant. The average feed consumption was higher in Treatment V by as much as 0.02; 0.025; 0.135 and 0.015 kilograms over the birds in Treatments I, II, III and IV respectively. <br/>However, results showed insignificant difference. At the end of the experimental period birds in Treatment I had a better feed efficiency over birds in Treatments II, III, IV and V with an average of 3.05 kilograms. However, this slight difference showed insignificant result. The average mortality of three percent was obtained both in treatments I and III during the period of the study.
