Indang, Cavite. April 2003. Adviser: Ms. Lina C. Abogadie.<br/><br/>A four month field practice was conducted at Coca-Cola Bottlers Philippines Inc. (CCBPI) in Soriano Highway, Tanza Cavite. The study was conducted to describe the organization and management of the firm; describe the products offered in the market and identify the problems as well as the future plans of the firm. Data and information were gathered from company’s profile, interviews with the personnel, and actual participation in the firm’s activities. Other data like different prices of CCBPI’s products were gathered from the files of the company.<br/><br/>The company distributes its products to three districts, covering nine distribution areas in Cavite which include Naic, Tanza, Cavite City, Maragondon, Ternate, Rosario, Kawit, Noveleta and Gen. Trias. Marketing of its products through local promos were done by the salesmen to different dealers and outlets. The management gives some discounts for those dealers who gain the highest sales in the area.<br/><br/>Major problems encountered by the firm were delays of operations of the business due to breakdowns of forklift machines.<br/> |
