Bachelor of Science in Business Management major in Operations<br/>Management. Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite. June 2019. Adviser: Engr. Tita C.<br/>Lopez.<br/>The study was conducted from August to May 2019 and the place of the study<br/>conducted in thirteen barangays in Trece Martires City, Cavite. This study used descriptive and<br/>correlation statistical tools in analyzing data. The scope and limitation of this study focused on<br/>significant difference between in distribution efficiency of purified drinking water station as<br/>perceived by the business owners and as perceived customers and some distribution channel<br/>such as scheduling, packaging, inventory management, multi-channel distribution, and<br/><br/>distribution strategy. The study was conducted to determine the following: (a) socio-<br/>demographic profile of owners of purified drinking water stations; (b) determine the business<br/><br/>profile of purified drinking water station; (c) Determine the customer socio-demographic profile;<br/>(d) the distribution channel of purified drinking water business; and (e) the distribution<br/>efficiency of purified drinking water as perceived by the business owners and customers; (f)<br/>What are the problems encountered during product distribution; (g) determined if is a<br/>significant difference on distribution efficiency as perceived by customer and the business<br/>owner.<br/>The results showed that the average age of the owner of purified drinking water station<br/>was ranged from 31 to 40 years old. Majority of the owners were male, were married, and<br/>college graduate. All of the business owners of purified drinking water station in Trece Martires<br/>City were owned as sole proprietorship, l yr. to 5 years in operation and majority of the<br/>participants answered that most of their customers were retailers. Lastly, the most common<br/>problems that the owner encountered during the product distribution were leakage of some<br/>water containers and delay of delivery of the product. |
