Undergraduate Thesis Submitted to the<br/>Faculty of College of Criminal Justice Cavite State University Indang, Cavite.<br/>This study was conducted for the purposes of assessment that can help the Selected<br/>Schools in Trece Martires City to further improve or develop their existing security measures<br/>based on the objective of this study which is the level of physical security in terms of Perimeter<br/>Barriers and Access Control. It also sought answers to the following: (1) Identify the level of<br/>security measures implemented in the selected schools in Trece Martires City in terms of<br/>perimeter barriers and access control (2) Identify the problems encountered by the participants<br/>on the implementation of Security in Selected Schools in Trece Martires City, Cavite terms of<br/>perimeter barriers and access control; and (3) Determine the significant relationship between<br/>the level of security measures implemented in selected schools in Trece Martires City, Cavite.<br/>Security measures pertain to the various security installations and policies implemented<br/>which aim to protect the assets from potential threats, loss or damage. This study discussed the<br/>level of security measures as well as the problems to be encountered in terms of the perimeter<br/>barriers & access control. Also, Significant relationship of each to determine its relevance. It is<br/>essential for every institution to understand the level of security measures to sort out what are<br/>the aspects of security as well as the assets that are at risk or vulnerable to threats which shall<br/>be neutralized and improved. This research applied the Quantitative Research Design, and the<br/>data were collected & gathered from 100 people that are visiting & reporting as well as those<br/>who can observe the security measures including the Students, Teachers & Staff. It would be<br/>beneficial to the schools to determine and evaluate the existing risks and hazards while<br/>upholding the school's educational goal because it would create a pleasant, safe, secured, and<br/>welcoming atmosphere for students, professors, staff, and visitors. The cooperation of the<br/>respondents would boost its safety and security, and it would be easier for the security<br/>personnel to classify the threats that the students, professors, staff, and visitors encountered<br/>and that would save them more time thus they can focus more on implementation and other<br/>necessary actions.
