Quality of Work Life and<br/>Job Satisfaction among Registered Medical Technologists of Car Sigma District in Cavite.<br/>Undergraduate Thesis. Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology. Cavite State<br/>University, Indang, Cavite. June 2021. Adviser: Rolando P. Antonio, RN, MA Psy, MANC.<br/>The study generally aimed to determine and understand what constitutes quality of work<br/>life and job satisfaction in a working environment. The researcher used a quantitative descriptive<br/>correlational research design in conjunction with quantitative data collection. Due to the<br/>descriptive nature of the demographic population's responses, this sort of research design was<br/>appropriate for the study. The questionnaire was used as the data collection tool via Google<br/>form. A total of 55 Registered Medical Technologists took part in the survey, with the majority of<br/>them being women. The findings also revealed a large number of employees who were young<br/>adults. A considerable percentage of the participants were single, all of whom had earned a<br/>degree, some of whom were master’s degree graduates, and some of them were still in charge<br/>of the course. There were many people who were employed permanently, with the majority of<br/>them having a job tenure of 2 to 4 years. The bulk of respondents work in the private sector,<br/>most of them earning between P15,001 and P20,000 a month. All of the participants were<br/>satisfied in terms of compensation, recognition, personal development, working<br/>productivity/efficiency, overall quality of work life, and overall job satisfaction. The findings also<br/>revealed that there was no significant relationship and differences between quality of work life<br/>and job satisfaction towards their demographic profile, except for the positive significance of<br/>monthly compensation to job satisfaction and quality of work life, and it is suggested that to<br/>increase the satisfaction, companies should strive to develop high salary, promotional activities,<br/>and neatly compensation. |
