ACUISA, SHAINE JIENELLE ANN G., MOGARA, MARVIELYN P., MONDALA, KATHERINE JOY L., PANGHULAN, RAYVEN M. Implementation of IATF-Based Health and Safety Protocols and its Effect on Customer Satisfaction and Convenience in Selected Restaurants in Tagaytay City. Undergraduate Thesis. Bachelor of Science in Business Management major in Service Management Program, Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite. August 2022. Adviser: Mr. Elmer D. Baybay.

The Inter-Agency Task Force has authorized permitting restaurants in GCQ areas to partially resume dine-in services as long as strict health and safety requirements are observed. Implementing IATF-based health and safety measures may have an impact on dine-in customers' satisfaction and convenience. The study aimed to determine the significant relationship between the Implementation of the IATF-Based Health and Safety Protocols and the customer service satisfaction and convenience of the customers. It was conducted from the selected restaurants in Tagaytay City, among them are Balay Dako, Bulalo Capital, Bulalo Point Turo-Turo, Cabanas Dine and Bar and Leslie's from April 2021 to January 2022. Quota sampling techniques were used to select the participants. Furthermore, using frequency distribution, it was found out that the participants are still satisfied with the customer service and convenience despite the implemented health and safety protocols. In addition, Kendall's Tau correlation coefficient has showed that the Implementation of the IATF-Based Health and Safety Protocols has a positive significant correlation on the customer satisfaction and convenience of the participants. It was concluded that the implementation of the IATF-based health and safety protocols has no negative impact on customer service satisfaction and convenience of the participants. It is recommended that the restaurant owners must strictly observe the implementation of the health and safety protocols because the results have shown that if there is a full implementation of protocols, customers tend to be highly satisfied, or vice versa.
|
