Plete. <br/><br/> The study was conducted to determine the socio-demographic profile of the selected CvSU permanent faculty members at Cavite State University, Main Campus; the adjustments made in terms of learning materials, technologies or technological tools, and assessment and evaluation; the best practice/s which made the delivery of their courses handled effective; the challenges met related to flexible learning delivery; and suggestions and recommendations in terms of support and services to be provided for flexible learning delivery. Relevant data were gathered through a questionnaire distributed as Google form to the purposively selected CvSU faculty members. Only 67 of the 142 faculty members selected from the Cavite State University- Main Campus completed the survey form that was mailed to them. Despite our attempts and requests to engage with them and encourage them to join, this continues to be the case. Students and instructors prefer social media platforms like Facebook Messenger because they always have their phones with them and can respond quickly to activities or tasks that must be completed and submitted. This is one of the reasons why this technology is so popular in asynchronous meetings. Because mobile data is more beneficial than texting, mobile phone messaging is the least used technique. The top three ideas from the participants for improving flexible learning delivery were to provide internet allowance to faculty members, establish initiatives to assist staff and students who lack the resources to support learning, and expand free internet connectivity in the community. Continuous tooling and re-tooling of faculty members may be considered for them to update their knowledge and skills on the tools that can be used for synchronous and asynchronous classes. If funds warrant, the participants suggested that internet allowance be provided to faculty members .<br/> |
