For the community based respondents, the study was conducted in Tagaytay City, Dasmarinas City, Rosario, and Tanza, Cavite. For the school based respondents, the selected universities were Cavite State University, University of Perpetual Help System-GMA, St. Joseph College-Tanza, and St. Dominic College of Asia. Students from various universities and community residents from different municipalities in Cavite have been evident in participating in this program on some parameters such as the age, gender, civil status and blood type.

The respondents’ level of awareness, involvement, perceived efficiency and satisfaction on blood donation program were analyzed using the means, frequency, and standard deviation. The respondents’ level of awareness showed that they only have slight awareness on blood donation program and is was affected by their demographic profile such as the age, civil status and blood type. The respondents’ level of involvement showed that they have slight involvement in bloodletting activities done in their municipalities and universities. It was also affected by the demographic profile such as the gender and blood type. Also, it is seen that the respondents perceived level of efficiency was also affected by the demographic profile such as the blood type and gender and that respondents perceived the blood donation program in the province as slight efficient. The respondents’ perceived level of satisfaction on the blood donation program was very satisfactory and signicantly related to gender and blood type.

The respondents’ perceived level of satisfaction on blood donation program is affected by their level of involvement and perception on the program’s efficiency. Also, encouraging others to donate blood was affected by the means on how the blood donation program is promoted in their universities and communities through the announcements by the school staffs or the barangay officials. It also found out that irrespective of the methods used in promoting a blood donation program, does not affect the respondents in organizing a blood donation program.
