Undergraduate Thesis. Bachelor of Science. In Business Management major in Marketing Management. Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite. August 2022. Adviser: Mr. Gener T. Cueno.<br/>This study was conducted in order to determine the influence of digital coupons on the purchase intention of online shoppers in Cavite. It also aimed to (1) determine the demographics of online shoppers in Cavite, (2) identify from which online shopping sites the participants commonly shop, (3) determine the product category that the participants usually purchase, and (4) describe the most common digital coupons that online shoppers usually use, and (5) determine what is the level of purchase intention of online shoppers as influenced by digital coupons.<br/>In getting the primary data, convenient sampling was applied through the social media platform, Facebook, by the means of Google forms that were distributed to 385 qualified participants for the study. The formulated survey questionnaire was composed of two parts: the profile of the participants and the Likert scale to measure the influence of digital coupons. The mean, standard deviation, and frequency distribution table were used to interpret the data collected.<br/>Through this study, the researchers were able to determine the influence of digital coupons on the purchase intention of online shoppers. The online shoppers are identified to be mostly female, 18 to 21 years old, the majority were students, and have a monthly income/ allowance of Php 100- 7,574. Shopee and Lazada are two of the most common online shopping sites the shoppers usually shop. Clothing and beauty cosmetics were the most frequently purchased items online. Free shipping is considered the most common digital coupon used by shoppers. Digital coupons, particularly free shipping, and percentage-based discounts are identified to have a strong influence on online shoppers when it comes to their purchase intention.<br/> |
