TUAZON, NERYL COLINE 0. Body Perception and Social Confidence of Management Students of Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite A. Y. 2010-2011. Undergraduate Thesis. Bachelor of Science in Psychology. Cavite State University. April 2011. Thesis Adviser: Ms. Alma Fatima R. Reyes. <br/>This study aimed to prove the relationship between Body Perception and Social Confidence. It also aimed to determine the Body Perception level in terms of body image and satisfaction to the way they look. Also it aimed to determine the Social Confidence level in terms of peers, school and community. The respondents of this study were sophomore and junior students of Bachelor of Science in Tourism and Resort Management and Bachelor of Science in Hotel and Restaurant Management from Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite. Two hundred sixty six participants were used in the study. The modified and validated questionnaire of Body Perception and Social Confidence were used in collecting the data. A three part survey questionnaire composed of 90 items was used to gather the needed data. Results revealed that Body Perception has no significant relationship to Social Confidence. But in their satisfaction to the way they look, there is a significant relationship with their Social Confidence to school and community<br/> |
