Nahilat. <br/><br/> This study was conducted at Cavite State University- Science High School, Lumampong National High School - Indang Annex and Lumampong National High School- Main from November 2014 tO January 2015. It aimed to determine the perceptions of graduating high school students on Social Work as a Profession. Specifically, this aimed to determine the level of awareness and knowledge of the graduating high school students towards Social Work as a profession and to define the perception of graduating high school students about Social Work as a profession in terms of roles and functions of a social worker, job opportunities of social worker and education and training in social work; to determine the career preferences of high school students and to know the ranking of social work in their preferred careers., and to identify the implication for the development of the systematic campaign program/strategy which may be proposed based on the students' perception of the Social Work as a profession. <br/>Sampling technique was used in the study wherein the researchers inferred with a sample population of 238 participants from public schools of Indang, Cavite such as Cavite State University — Science High School, Lumampong National High School Main and Lumampong National High School — Indang; Annex. A survey questionnaire was used as a tool in data-gathering- The study made use of frequenc\ mean_ standard deviation and percentage in describing the socio-demographic profile of the participants. <br/><br/> The result showed that most of the participants belonged to age 15 and below, of which majority of them as male. It was also revealed that in the career preference of the participants, most of them chose Business Management in Business-Clerical; Military and Criminology Outdoor-Physical; Teaching in Social-Personal; Music/Voice Culture in Creative Arts and Humanities; Educational Administration in Administrative; Nursing in Life and Health Sciences; and Civil Engineering in Mathematics, Physical Sciences and Technology. In the career preference of the participants, it revealed that Social Work belonged to the category of Social-Personal, got a mean rank of 3.67 and standard deviation of 1.859. This means that Social Work was in the third career preference of the students in the said category. Participants also agreed on the statements favorable to Social Work as a profession. The three aspects: roles and functions of a social worker; job opportunities of a social worker; and education and training in social work got a verbal interpretation of "High" in the study. This reveals that the graduating high schools students in lndang, Cavite have a high awareness of the Social Work as a Profession. <br/>
