Master in Business Administration. Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite. April 2015. Adviser: Dr. Florindo C. Ilagan. <br/><br/> The study was primarily conducted to assess the awareness and compliance of selected cooperatives in Cavite on the mandatory requirements of the Cooperative Development Authority (CDA). It also aimed to test the relationship of the two variables. Data were gathered from 80 credit and multipurpose cooperatives using a survey questionnaire. Frequency and mean were used to present the level of awareness and compliance while Spearman rank correlation analysis was employed to test the relationship. The level of awareness of selected cooperatives in Cavite on the mandatory requirements of the CDA was measured in terms of content, responsibility, and schedule of deadlines while the level of compliance was evaluated in terms of completeness, accuracy, and promptness. Results showed that the cooperatives were highly aware and highly compliant on the mandatory requirements of CDA while there was a significant relationship between the level of awareness and level of compliance.<br/> |
